Home & Office Inventory Solutions (HOIS) was started shortly after I became a victim of theft. I had an antique musical instrument that was stolen out of the trunk of my car. I had proof as well as proper coverage. While going through the claim process I began to think of the many victims who don't have proof or coverage.
Another reason I decided to start this business was I knew what it was like to experience a disaster. In 1970, we lost our home and mostly all of it's contents due to an earthquake. When you're not protected the the loss can be devastating. Whenever I hear of a disaster, I can relate.
The loss of valuables, collectibles, and a lifetime of memories can be somewhat comforted by having not only proof of what you had but a way of reproducing photos and valuable documents that would have otherwise been destroyed.
The basic concept of our business is to help our clients to be protected in the event of a disaster such as a fire, theft, flood or earthquake.
It is always better whenever someone has to file an insurance claim that they do not have the stress of recalling everything that they have lost.
Knowing that you have proof of what you own does provide you with the comfort and security of knowing that you are protected.
